At last, no excuses accepted. The So Cal GW League is starting it's first ever (because it's a new game) War of the Ring League. On 05/23/2009, the battle lines will form and the battles to end the 3rd age of Middle Earth will begin. This will follow our traditional league style and format. If you are interested, please post your information here or contact me via email at eplowinger@aol.com. The draft (slightly modified) will be held on the evening of 05/22/2009 from 8-9pm at the Los Angeles Battle Bunker. Full rules/league conventions will be supplied. Get off your ass and get 1000 points of WOTR together. The fate of Middle Earth is at stake. This league will run for 8 (16 real time) weeks. Entry fee is $15.00. Prizes to be provided (some trophies too!) Thanks and again....just get off your ass!!! Pat Lowinger

All races are invited...well maybe not hobbits... If you are unable to attend the draft, just send me an email at eplowinger@aol.com or call me at (562) 441-3666 so you can get all the league info and get placed on the schedule. You know Mike G is serious when he actually sits down and paints an entire army. The dogs of Rohan got paint on them...no really...Mike painted his figs. I am sad that I have to report that while some of you have expressed excitement in regards to the new LOTR War league, the overall results are mediocre. I will still being putting together a league for this season, but with the limited number of projected players, it may be short season (6 games or so). If you dont make it to the draft tonight at the LA Bunker, please give me a call or e-mail ASAP.

Alright, now that things are calming down (tournament speaking) I hope to be getting some WOTR in. Anyone got a day and a time. I was thinking about meeting up with the group that plays on Thursdays at the LA Bunker.
